“The King’s predecessor was a great man.”  Most people in Thailand said so after King Vajiralongkorn was finally crowned in May 2019. His late father, King Bhumibol was really loved and admired by people.

This is what the Los Angeles Times reported in 2016 about Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, King Vajiralongkorn’s sister.

Sirindhorn is truly loved by people and called “Princess Angel”.  But Thailand’s military rulers keep a tight lid on palace politics.  So she could never succeed to the crown. We understand the reasons why people in Thailand have been protesting against King Vajiralongkorn before and after his coronation.

We are so sorry that some activists were arrested and sent to jail for years.

This country shows and warns us of the risks for succession system allowing only male-line males to ascend the throne.

◆Let’s cry out we have a wonderful Princess, Aiko

Now In Japan, many people are proud of His Majesty, the Emperor Naruhito. But how about his brother Prince Akishino?  No, no, no, no.  Akishino might be the most unpopular prince of all time.

Though he was formally declared first in line to the throne, as you can see from this graph, most of us hope Emperor Naruhito’s daughter, Princess Aiko (Toshinomiya) to succeed to the throne.

Princess Aiko had been first in line until Akishinos gave birth to a male heir, Prince Hisahito.  Rumor has it that the couple used IVF and SEX SELECTION by preimplantation genetic testing, though it has been ethically prohibited even now.

◆Vicious, lashing Out and extremely rich…

In recent months, more and more Japanese people lost their trust in Akishinos because of many scandals, not only former Princess Mako’s unblessed marriage.

Did Akishino eat Capybaras, guinea pigs and others?

Maybe yes. The story was brought to a famous Journalist, Mr. Joichiro Shinohara by a whistle-blower. Mako once confessed that her father liked to eat guinea pigs.

Akishino’s No.1 entourage Mr. O got involved in suspect of bribery from a local boat company in Kyoto. So it means…?

I guess so. Former president of the boat company was sued for unaccounted-for spending, and during the trial, he testified that Mr. O demanded big money including 1 million Yen to Akishino and he obeyed it.

Although Mr.O and Akishino pretend to be innocent, most of us won’t believe it as there are too many unsolved scandals around Akishinos.

Akishino is a quiet person, isn’t he?

No. His daughters said he was short-tempered.  It is reported that he is angry with people who hate him and hope Princess Aiko to be a reigning empress. He should understand that his situation is just like King Vajiralongkorn’s.

Akishinos have 2 huge mansions for 4.4 billion yen（33 million dollars）, right ?

Right.  With high-quality Italian marbles and gold.

On the other hand, his brother, the Emperor’s family resides in the Imperial Palace within the Fukiage Palace after 870 million Yen (6.5 million dollars) renovation.  The Emperor and Empress are always worried of many Japanese people being worse off than before.

◆Akishino should know better

If we do nothing, and Akishino is once crowned someday, he will show his way of commander-in-chief to threaten or arrest activists and may put them into jail, as he is very cruel.

But then, people will get together and hold a demonstration of “No more Akishino” toward the foreign media’s cameras broadcasting to the world.  Again, please don’t ignore this, 90 percent of young people aged 18 to 29 said they would support reigning empress.
